In this process, a poorly formed heel counter can cause lifting, wrinkling, or misalignment during sole attachment, compromising both appearance and durability. The TH-727A solves this by delivering precise, heat-assisted tension around the heel area to ensure a smooth, taut fit that meets the high standards of handcrafted and semi-dress footwear production.
Stitch-down construction requires the upper to be pulled tightly over the heel seat and secured before stitching through the insole flange. Any slack or distortion here compromises both aesthetics and durability. The TH-727A addresses this with:
Chain-Type Wrapping System: A continuous tension band wraps around the heel counter like a “mechanical hand,” applying uniform pressure from multiple angles—superior to single-pincer or cam-based systems that create localized stress points.
Integrated Heated Wiper Blade: An adjustable-temperature wiper (up to 180°C) gently heats and smooths the leather/synthetic as it’s pulled, enhancing plasticity and reducing rebound—critical for stiff counter materials.
Infinitely Adjustable Last Height: Accommodates varying heel heights (e.g., low oxfords vs. high boots) via precision-guided vertical positioning, ensuring the pull point always aligns with the shoe’s natural heel curve.
Cold forming often causes elastic recovery—especially in chrome-tanned leathers or composite uppers. By introducing controlled heat at the point of tension, the TH-727A:
